Background

Cluzel & Pluchon gathers two designers, Sébastien Cluzel and Morgane Pluchon. After working in different agencies in Europe, these two graduates of ESADSE and ECAL decided to create their design office together in 2015.

Signature

When working on a project, Cluzel & Pluchon has two main values. One is that design has to be accessible to all and the other one is that design always needs to serve Men. Their practice goes from lighting, to furniture including home accessories. They pay particular attention to redefining the function of daily use objects.

Inspiration

Driven by the will of making functional and useful objects, Cluzel & Pluchon draws its inspiration from the great figures of Italian design such as Vico Magistretti, the humanist vision of Charlotte Perriand and the aesthetic rigor of Richard Sapper. Nevertheless, the observation of daily life stays one their main inspiration.
